Call for Applications: GOAL NextGen Youth Programme 2023 |Stipend of €400

The GOAL NextGen Youth Programme 2023 is now accepting applications. The GOAL’s NextGen Youth Programme brings together young people from around the world to learn more about global justice concerns and to develop their awareness of global citizenship.

This program will teach young, motivated changemakers about the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to food and climate action, and how we can work together to achieve a more equitable and sustainable future for all. Participants will work together to create awareness-raising tools to communicate their insights and hopes for our interconnected world.

The programme is a 7-week engagement with young people in Ireland and select GOAL programme countries focused on creating the learning and empowerment opportunities necessary for positive youth-led change. Through participatory workshops and cross-cultural collaborations, youth programme participants will deepen their understanding of global citizenship and linked global justice issues. Much more than a once-off programme, upon completion all participants of the programme will join GOAL’s NextGen Youth Network as the facilitators and multipliers of GOAL’s message of Global Citizenship.

NextGen Youth Programme Benefits

Over these 7 sessions, participants will work with peers across the world to develop skills in critical thinking, intercultural communication, project management, teamwork, and the fundamentals of organising and implementing public awareness campaigns.

  • Critically interrogate the systems that perpetuate inequalities.
