Deloitte One Young World Scholarship 2023

In order to create a better, more sustainable future for people and the earth, we must collaborate to address the world’s increasingly complex global concerns.

The climate crisis is one of these issues that has to be addressed immediately. It is crucial that, while the globe continues to recover from the epidemic, we do not simply revert to our previous practices. Instead, we must seize this opportunity to build multifaceted, creative solutions to combat climate change and fulfill the goals of the Paris Agreement.

But in order to protect the planet’s future, we must also make sure that it is a future in which the following generation is prepared to face the difficulties that will arise. Investing in education and skills is key to empowering individuals, nations, and society to face the challenges of tomorrow. However, millions of people around the world are held back by educational inequality, with 800 million youth today not predicted to have even the basic skills to succeed in the workforce by 2030.

Deloitte firmly believes that it is our duty to create a better, more sustainable future where each person is empowered, uplifted, and capable of realizing their full potential. By 2030, we want to increase possibilities for 100 million more people worldwide through our strategic programs WorldClass and WorldClimate, and to combat climate change both inside and outside of our organization.

As a longstanding partner of One Young World, we’re proud to support the Deloitte One Young World Scholarship 2023 which will enable 5 outstanding young leaders to attend the One Young World Summit in Belfast, United Kingdom on 2 – 5 October 2023.
