Rhodes Trust/Schmidt Futures Rise Program for Young Students 2024

The Rhodes Trust/Schmidt Futures Rise Program seeks out promising young people and provides them with life opportunities while they work to benefit others.

The program begins at the age of 15 and encourages a lifetime of service and learning by providing need-based scholarships, mentorship, networking, access to career development opportunities, and the possibility of additional funding as Rise Global Winners work to solve humanity’s most pressing problems.

Details of Rhodes Trust/Schmidt Futures Rise Program:

Rise is an initiative of Schmidt Futures and the Rhodes Trust, is the anchor program of that commitment. Rise builds on an existing partnership between Schmidt Futures and the Rhodes Trust, including the creation of the Schmidt Science Fellows program. Each organization has realized the power of building a network of talented people, and this partnership allows them both to focus on reaching a younger audience between the ages of 15 and 17.  As part of the network of Schmidt Organizations, the Rise community is committed to improving the quality of life for more people, enhancing human health and opportunity, and preserving as well as restoring essential planetary systems now and in the future.

The Rhodes Trust, based at the University of Oxford, brings together and develops exceptional people from all over the world, and in all fields of study, who are impatient with the way things are and have the courage to act.
