Call for Applications: Future Fund Africa Accelerate Africa (A2) Program 2023 for early State Founders

Accelerate Africa is a 7-week pre-accelerator program that prepares African early-stage entrepreneurs to apply for global accelerator programs that provide investment and access to a worldwide network of Investors, Customers, and Networks to help them expand their firms.

The Accelerate Africa program has been launched by Prosper Africa and Future Africa. The program offers intense assistance, mentorship, and resources to African Founders in their early stages. Future Africa, in collaboration with Prosper Africa, will help dynamic African entrepreneurs in a 7-week pre-accelerator program that will prepare them for global scale through accelerator programs such as Y-Combinator, 500 Startups, and Techstars. The initiative will put these entrepreneurs in a better position to raise more venture capital and establish more robust firms.

This partnership delivers on the U.S. Government’s commitments from the U.S-Africa Leaders Summit to increase investment on the continent. Prosper Africa committed $170 million in the Summit’s Deal Room to increase U.S. investment in Africa and African exports to the United States by $2 billion in the next five years, including through the new Prosper Africa Catalytic Investment Facility.

Accelerate Africa (A2) prepares early stage African founders for global scale. Accelerate Africa (A2) identify partners who can provide them with access to capital, customers and channels that can catalyze their trajectory such as Global Technology Accelerators like Y Combinator, 500 Startups and Techstars; Governments; Global Technology Companies and Entrepreneur Support Organizations.
