Call for Applications: SRHIN Health Equity Champions Program 2023
The SRHIN Health Equity Champions Program 2023 is now accepting applications. The SRHIN Health Equity Champions (SHEC) program is a volunteer program in which SRHIN selects, develops, and supports 40 emerging leaders between the ages of 18 and 30 who will serve as Health Equity Champions for SRHIN across several states in Nigeria.
Slum and Rural Health Initiative (SRHIN) is a nonprofit organization based in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and the Gambia that works to improve access to healthcare information and services in Africa, particularly in vulnerable and underserved communities, through advocacy, research, and technology.
These champions will work closely with the SRHIN Nigeria Country Coordinator and will work with the direction and support of the SRHIN Programs team to come up with innovative and exciting ways to improve healthcare delivery in marginalized settings in Nigeria. This is a fantastic opportunity to impact your community, country and the world working with a highly-visible, mission-driven SRHIN volunteers in an incredible, supportive environment. Champions will receive training on how to conduct impactful campaigns and leverage the media for increased impact.
