Call for Applications: UN SDSN Youth Climate Actors Accelerator Programme (CAAP) 2023 |Nigeria
The UN SDSN Young Climate Actors Acceleration Programme (CAAP) 2023 is now accepting applications. The Climate Actors Accelerator Programme (CAAP) is developed exclusively for young innovators and change-makers between the ages of 18 and 35 who are passionate about proposing solutions to the global climate issue and constructing a liveable environment toward a net-zero future.
With advanced training, bootcamp, environmental campaigns, clean-up efforts, tree-planting activities, ecological tours, and inventive thinking, this knowledge-sharing and innovation program provides a complete approach to creating a sustainable future.
The program’s purpose is to create a network of young leaders who will pioneer breakthrough ideas to repair and safeguard our planet and ecosystem. We believe that by addressing the critical issues of climate change mitigation and adaptation, promotion of our natural and cultural heritage, biodiversity conservation, waste and pollution, and responsible production and consumption, we can make our environment and human settlements more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable.

UN SDSN Youth Climate Actors Accelerator Programme Eligibility
- Applicant must be Nigerian, and between the ages of 18 – 35 years.
- Ability to commit at least 4 hours per week throughout the programme.
- Availability to partake in Masterclass sessions, Climate Education, and Community Development Projects.
- Interested in being a development and transformation agent.
