The WAAW Foundation Scholarship 2023/2024 is now accepting applications. The WAAW Foundation’s Annual Scholarship Program aims to assist African Female University Students studying any Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) related degree.
With this scholarship, you are free to focus on your academic goals while also volunteering to give back to your community and encourage the involvement of women in STEM through your university’s STEM Outreach Chapter. They are searching for scholars that see a need in their community and have the enthusiasm and determination to make a difference.
WAAW Foundation Scholarship
- The WAAW Foundation scholarship is a one-time award of $500.
WAAW Foundation Scholarship Eligibility
- Open to female students of African origin, living and studying in Africa.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
- Studying STEM-related courses in a University or college in Africa.
- Presently a first or second year student or a third-year student for a 5-year course in a University.
- Ability to demonstrate financial need
- Excellent Academic Record.
- Proven leadership, volunteering, and community service
- Below the age of 32 years.
