New funding opportunity for emerging African storytellers

Are you a writer, content producer, performer, visual artist, or journalist who presents African stories that go beyond the clichés of famine, conflict, sickness, subpar governance, and corruption?

Your next endeavor might be supported by the Kekere Storytellers Fund from Africa No Filter.

In order to portray Africa as an inventive, developing, and creative continent, the fund provides microgrants to up-and-coming writers who are already producing original, captivating content and distributing it.

Africa No Filter established the Kekere Storytellers Fund to make sure that funding, which is scarce and infrequently available to emerging storytellers, reaches artists, writers, and content producers who share our enthusiasm for telling better stories about Africa and better stories about Africa.
