Call for Applications: 5th “We Want Jazz” Poster Competition 2023 |PLN 10,000 in prizes
The 5th “We Want Jazz” Poster Competition 2023 is now accepting applications. The competition’s purpose is to popularize jazz by involving the international community of graphic artists, as well as to popularize Polish and world jazz as music in which everyone can discover something for themselves. Artists are requested to create a poster based on the theme “All that Jazz!”
Jazz comes in a variety of hues and perspectives! From Dixieland to mainstream, fusion, funk, ethnic, and dance jazz, to jazz with symphony orchestra participation. Because of its spontaneous nature and predisposition to musical discourse amongst the performing artists, it can take on the character of consonance at times and an untamed musical din at other times. They wish to present jazz as an open music full of improvisation while also adhering to the “call and response” principle: music of synergy, mutual listening, and shared creation!
5th We Want Jazz Poster Competition 2023 Prizes
- 1st prize – PLN 5,000
- 2nd prize – PLN 3,000
- 3rd prize – PLN 2,000
*The amount of the prizes is gross amount and will be reduced by the tax due on the prizes.
5th We Want Jazz Poster Competition 2023 Eligibility
- The competition is open to anyone.
- Each author can submit a maximum of 3 posters:
- dimensions: 70×100 cm (vertical)
- file format: TIF, LZW
- compression colors: CMYK
- resolution: 200 dpi

Prepared poster in electronic form should be sent to the Organizer by e-mail via www.wetransfer.com to the address [email protected] by September 25, 2023.
